My Bio
As you can see I like road biking and whitewater kayaking...but I'm not that boring, though. I also like mountain biking, cyclocross racing, painting, drawing, working with chalk pastel, playing drums, and skateboarding. Also I like to eat and sleep. For biking I am on the National Capital Velo Club-NCVC. NO...I'm not on a kayaking team. Though I am good for my young age. I recently developed a roll and can do medioker enders accompanied by fair stern squirts. Yes, I also like flash...I've been working on a new game that will hopefully have an XML implemented highscore table (my friends got bored of space invaders). I've been drumming for about two years under the awesome guidance of Alex Kraus. Go Alex! About cycling again, here is my training schedule: ride Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and do between 75 and 100 sit ups every night. Then on the weekends, either ride or if there's a race, RACE! Recently I started to weight lift Tuesdays and Thursdays to strengthen my arms for kayaking. Also, I have some accomplishments. These include a fair amount of silver and bronze medals. Recently I became the Maryland state Mountain Bike champion. I'm glad I have an excercise training program because it really helps. My weight is decreasing even though I'm increasing my muscle mass and total height constantly. On average, I is usualy 115lbs when I wake up in the morning (which is pretty good for 5 feet tall and large muscles).

BAD RACE!
Bunny Hop Criterium
Very good race...bad start. Couldn't clip into the looks quick enough. Grabbed Morgan Gurlack's wheel (who recently got look style pedals) and got paced up to Justin Mauch and some Volvo kid. Morgan took me up and settled behind the Volvo kid, Justin right on my wheel. When we came back to the line, Morgan attacked and sped away forever. Volvo kid went chasing and me and Justin couldn't catch him. Me and Justin (both on NCVC) worked together for many laps. Allen Carp and Micheal, also both from NCVC, were chasing the whole race. Then some other dude caught us and it wasn't because we slowed down... he just rode hard. I guess it tired him out though because he wouldn't pull the whole race, he didn't do ANYTHING! Me and Justin tried to get him to work so we could both rest. At like 7 to go, Morgan lapped us (Morgan's like 8 inches taller than both of us and he's 14) and settled in to our group... he helped us organize a better paceline and pushed the speed just a bit. With two to go I was wiped and we had finally caught Mr. Volvo dude. I knew I couldn't sprint and I knew at the beginning that Justin was a better sprinter... hopefully I had helped him. At the last corner I let the sprinters go knowing that I already had a garaunteed 2nd place in the 10-12 category. I later heard that the annoying 13 year old who wouldn't pull had won the sprint... Justin would have won if it was even and that guy had actually pulled. Trust me.
Greenbrier Challenge
First mountain bike race ever... great course... 2nd place... no complaints.
